I'm Dorsha Oseitutu
As Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Ms. Dorsha Oseitutu provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and tactical implementation for all of GHCI's corporate communications, marketing, brand management, and public/media relations. Ms. Oseitutu develops and implements GHCI's marketing plan to increase public awareness and understanding of GHCI’s mission and programs; to enhance the organization’s public image; to attract donors/partners/students, and educate GHCI’s constituency.
Prior to joining GHCI, Ms. Oseitutu was a management consultant across multiple industries. Leveraging her expertise in strategic planning and marketing communications she enabled clients to create, communicate, and deliver value to their target audiences. Ms. Oseitutu’s ability to influence both decision-makers and diverse audiences began 22 years ago, when she was selected as executive managerial trainee for Baltimore’s top-rated WJZ-TV Channel 13.
Moved by her greater sense of social responsibility, Ms. Oseitutu leveraged her broadcasting experience for at-risk youth advocacy in the following leadership positions Fundraiser, Public Relations Director, Global Affairs Coordinator, Acting Public Information Officer, and Executive Director. The communications maven has helped organizations develop fundraising literature, advocacy programs, and special events to foster positive donor relations.
Dorsha serves on the board for New Jerusalem Worship Center in Baltimore, Maryland and University of Virginia Black Alumni Club of Atlanta (UVABA). A member of National PTA Association, Dorsha is an active parent liaison and classroom volunteer. With a credo of "born to be a blessing", Dorsha supports Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, USAgain, Good Will, The Salvation Army, Word of Faith Christian Center, and American Cancer Society.
An alumni of the University of Virginia, Dorsha has a Bachelors of Art and a Masters of Business Administration. In her leisure, she enjoys cooking, traveling, writing, and spending time with loved ones. Dorsha is the proud mother of two sons.
