Dr. Leslie W. Kingslow is a board certified physician in pulmonary medicine. He is a proud third generation physician who hails from Orange, New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC in 1988. He interned in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1991. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the George Washington University Hospital, in Washington, DC, in 1996, after which, Dr. Kingslow joined Pulmonary Critical Care Associates, PC, of Washington, DC, in private practice, where he has maintained partnership for the last 15 years.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kingslow has developed expertise in the areas of pulmonary vascular diseases, sarcoidosis, emphysema, asthma, and long term mechanical ventilation management. He is recognized as a regional and national speaker on a variety of pulmonary disease states. He has held adjunct faculty positions in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship training programs at the Washington Veteran's Administration Hospital, and Howard University Hospital, respectively, and currently remains as adjunct faculty in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.
Currently, he maintains active medical staff positions at Washington Hospital Center, Providence Hospital, and the Specialty Hospital of Washington. He is the director of the Chronic Ventilator/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Division at the Specialty Hospital of Washington and the former chairman of the pulmonary section at Providence Hospital. In addition, he is the former President of the medical staff of the Specialty Hospital of Washington, and has sat on the board of directors for the medical staffs at Washington Hospital Center, and Providence Hospital respectively. In 2009, Dr. Kingslow established a pulmonary-critical care medicine service at Schneider Regional Medical Center in St. Thomas, USVI. Under his directorship, it has provided pulmonary services to the resident of St. Thomas and surrounding islands for two years.
Dr. Kingslow is a member of numerous professional organizations and in a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a member of the American College of Physicians, and the National Medical Association. He sits on the Medical Advisory Board for Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Respirionics, and Genentech/Norvartis Pharmaceuticals, respectively. He has sat on a variety of boards, including Adventures in Health Education and Agriculture (AHEAD,Inc), and the Howard University Medical Alumni Association, and is a member of a variety of civic and social organizations.
