I'm Robert Chapman
Robert L. Chapman is former Assistant Dean for Student and Program Advancement at North Carolina Central University School of Business. He reported directly to the Dean of the School of Business and was primarily responsible for student services and strategic initiatives to improve and enhance Programs within the School. Student retention and graduation management, academic advising, student professional development, and career placement activities were functions within that administrative role. As Assistant Dean, he was also responsible for soliciting capital and expansion funds for the Program from internal and external stakeholders; interacting with faculty, staff, students, as well as with corporate and community partners to assure that the Program achieved its mission.
Mr. Chapman previously served as Special Assistant to the Dean and Director of Student Professional Development. He was a member of the faculty serving as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management. He earned his B.A. Degree in English, from Lincoln University, PA and a M.B.A. Degree in Health Care Administration at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Graduate Division. Rob has over 20 years of administrative experience in the public and private sectors. In addition, he served on the NCCU School of Business Board of Visitors; Board Chair, Durham Striders Youth Track Club; and NCCU Faculty/Administrator Service Learning Fellow.
