Wow, what a beautiful day with the parents, campers and GHCI team to kick-off Family Day 2017. Over 100 persons packed the Alfonso Elder Student Union. Some families arrived at 7:45 AM for the 9:00 AM session. One parent said," This will be a special program for my daughter. As I walked up to the building, I felt the warmth as the counselors greeted me. Sitting down and listening to you guys, I am even more excited. We need to get more funding for programs like this. You go beyond STEM and cover the soft skills too. We need something like this for high school students."
